Restaurant Jagerhaus in Heubach

So I was very satisfied with the food and the service, I'll definitely be back. However, I am irritated by the different ratings that are great but also very dissatisfied. There is nothing in between. You could think that the inn is run by different landlords.

Was there with my daughter after 2pm. Mask and hygiene regulations are observed, as is the distance between the tables. We received a very friendly and warm welcome from the boss. I didn't find any children's portions on the menu and asked for them. All dishes can also be served as children's portions. Changing the side dishes for my daughter was not a problem. Portion sizes were adequate and from my point of view no reason for complaint. The children's schnitzel was freshly pounded and the pork medallions were great, as were the cheese patties! P.S Thanks for the delicious bread with the homemade hummus in front! Always my pleasure

We thought it was very nice here. The staff was friendly and the food was also very nice, fresh and delicious 😋 to be prepared. Even my allergy was dealt with professionally.

Unkempt place, noisy traffic

It is particularly nice to enjoy the sunset on the terrace over Heubach and let yourself be pampered with culinary delights. The portions are not as big as you know from home-style inns, but they are completely sufficient! And qualitatively excellent! Seasonal and homemade. My favorites are the surprising creations of Maultaschen, depending on what the forest is offering. The only thing that could possibly be negative if you are in a hurry: it may take a while ... Go there, take your time, and enjoy it!

It is always worthwhile to stop and dine in the Jägergau - inside and outside. Super tenant / cook and very nice waitresses who fulfill almost every wish. We would like to come again. Thanks for the culinary delight!

Good service, probably the boss, also to change side dishes no problem. Eat good Swabian, very good preparation and sufficient. On Saturday afternoon, however, very quiet. So I don't know how normal the waiting time for food is.

Have waited just under 1.5 hours for the food, although the hunters house was not heavily visited. The food arrived, the turkey steak was served on a hot stone and not yet cooked ...

Go for years always happy after hiking. Great atmosphere or terrace. Great view, nice staff and good to very good food, fresh, delicious! Heubacher beer. Top also throughout hot food. Almhorn players also arrive on certain days and play in the yard in front of them. Tip: I go to days and times out of rush hours, then the staff is not so under pressure and everything is more positive for the guest, is generally. Atmosphere: very nice ambience inside and outside. There are 5/5 stars. Service: What disappointed me was the service. With us 30 minutes after the arrival of the whole family first order was taken. Have read the recessions before regarding the time management and I could confirm that today. After the order it took another 32 minutes until it came to the soup. Then the salad followed 14 minutes later and the skin dish 14 minutes later. We were told that someone was sick, ok that was forgiven but what happened within the waiting time no one could understand. The other table came long after us and had its main course in front of us, the waitress seemed very irritated and stressed, you could say overwhelmed. When asked if you could have instead of spaetzle potato gratin, came only a tricky: No, there is only what is on the menu. So this is not possible. Customer is king. There are 2/5 stars from me Essen: Starting with a greeting from the kitchen bread with lard (which is not for everyone). Swabian holiday soup was ok. It followed the salad of this slightly more dressing could tolerate, one searches in vain for this dab. Main course I had the pork medallions which were very well done but juicy and very spicy, this could confirm our whole table. Came in any case very positive. It is important that one did not have to pay for the supplements when they were empty. For dessert was chocolate perfait with red custard and berries. The food gets from me 3/5 stars Price / performance you can over it quarrel my menu was 25,90 € but was cheaper than how to buy everything individually (soup 5 €, chocolate opera 8 €, medallions 17 €) All in one a great restaurant that still has to work on its service staff with delicious dishes. The regular menu was also very tempting. Will come over in the summer and see if anything has changed.

Essen excellent

Was here to stay on a multi-day hike. Great breakfast on the holiday! Great. WiFi works via WPS, ask at the counter. Very friendly and attentive people!

Good plain food. Friendly service. Nice view from the terrace.

We ate here several years ago and it was fantastic. I had delicious, tender steak that came with a very hot stone that I basically cooked it myself right at the table. It also came with a very interesting array of delicious sauces to eat it with.
